Springfield Hospital Win Essex Business Excellence Award for
Customer Care and Service
General Manager David Hewitt is delighted to be able
to announce that Springfield Hospital has won the Essex Business
Excellence Award 2011 for Customer Care and Service (large company
category). The winners were announced at the finalist award
ceremony on 22nd September 2011 and Marketing manager Jan Newman
and David Hewett were very proud to collect the award on behalf of
all of the staff and customers of Springfield.
The judges said what they liked about Springfield was
that “whilst we recognised we did not always get everything right
we were keen to learn from feedback which we put into continuing to
improve the services we provide to our patients” the award is
testimony to the hard work of every member of staff as well as the
Consultants at Springfield and David would like to thank them all
for this outstanding achievement.
The award was especially
significant as this was the most popular category in the Business
Awards so we had to beat some tough competition to win. It
demonstrates that Springfield is a step closer to consistently
achieving our vision that “people who use our hospital services
will recommend us to their family and friends because of our
excellent patient outcomes”. We constantly strive to provide
