Care Quality Commission
We welcome the recent CQC inspection into our hospital and services. We are delighted that the report rated the hospital ‘good’ in the areas of effective, caring and responsive. The report highlighted that patient feedback about receiving care or treatment at our hospital was positive in all the services we provide and that staff spoke to patients in a kind and compassionate manner.
However, we acknowledge that there are areas where we currently need to improve and we have a robust action plan in place to ensure we address these issues.
Stuart Emerson, General Manager said, “I am extremely pleased that the CQC rated Springfield Hospital ‘good’ in the areas of caring, effective and responsive. This is a reflection of the skills and commitment that our staff show every day to our patients. We are committed to addressing the areas for improvement that are identified in the CQC report whilst ensuring that all of our patients continue to receive the high standard of care we pride ourselves on delivering.”
