Springfield Achieves New BSI Standard for Patient Identifiable
Information
Springfield Hospital is pleased to announce that they have
achieved the ISO27001 standard for the Protection of Patient
Identifiable Information in October 2010.
This is a national standard recognised by the British Standards
Institute and confirms that throughout any treatments or services
you receive at Springfield you can be assured that: -
- Your personal information is kept secure in line with this
national standard
- The hospital's faculties and IT systems are in line with the
above standard ensuring patient information is only handled and
accessed by authorised personnel
- All employees are fully CRB checked and the CRB check is kept
up to date every 5 years. All employees are regularly trained on
the requirements of information security and data protection
- The hospital's policies and procedures ensure patient
information is kept secure at all times
- Strong access control & CCTV systems are in place across
the facility
I hope this provides you with the re-assurance that you would
expect of a private healthcare organisation who are here to ensure
you always have a "Premium Care" experience within our
facilities.
