Prostate cancer is a common disease within men with over 40,000 cases being diagnosed every year in England with up to 9,000 deaths per year attributed to this disease. 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.
During the pandemic, we are acutely aware of the challenges we all face with ensuring staff are kept up-to date with all patient safety essential training and we must do things very differently. Our main priority is to ensure the safety of all of the candidates and faculty, while maintaining a high quality educational standard.
In solidarity with our colleagues in Australia and for all those affected by the bushfires, all Ramsay UK sites and staff are hosting a fundraising activity with proceeds being donated to the New South Wales Rural Fire Service and Country Fire Authority in Victoria.
