"Just got back from an overnight stay after having Tonsillectomy.  My room was lovely, spacious and very clean. Bathroom with double shower. Was greeted by Maureen who was lovely. Started to get nervous & upset on my way to theatre and Faye & the male anaesthetist reassured me and put me at ease. In recovery, again I was welcomed by some lovely staff. They really took care of me & kept checking I was ok. There was a bit of miscommunication whilst waiting for my discharge letter and my cannula to be removed which took some time but other than that, I received great care. Thankyou Springfield hospital"

"What an excellent experience with Claire Irons from the physiotherapy team. Was discharged by a specialist as nothing more he could do for my jaw. Two sessions with Claire and I’ve full range of movement, minimal-no discomfort and no pain. Really incredible knowledge and service - would strongly recommend. Thank you!"

"Had a knee Arthroscopy today at Springfield hospital and have nothing but praise for all the staff who dealt with me today. Arrived at 720 and was in Theatre by 945 / Home by 1pm watching the DVD of my op!! Every single staff member who I had contact with to include reception / porter showing me to my room / nurses / anaesthetist team / and of course Professor Cheah were so friendly, professional and gave amazing care - 10/10 !!"

"My husband son and I were greeted and offered drinks (because we arrived early) from the moment we arrived in the reception Our nurse Nicole came and greeted us, and the porter took us to my sons room. The room was very spacious with two beds one for our son & one for the hubby (they get tired too). We had a phone call before hand for magazine request. My sons duvet was dressed in cartoon character's he was given a special Springfield teddy and Nicole printed a special well done spurs certificate after asking his fav team. I think all these personal touches made Springfield hosptail top of any other hospital we had been too. Nicole my sons nurse was amazing from pre op until we left for home on the op day. She went above and beyond and put my sons nerves at ease. She is a excellent nurse, very professional, friendly, explains everything in a child friendly way to my son, so he could understand the procedure of how general anaesthetic feels etc. Kathy Mr Sood's nurse was also excellent from the first phone call to Mr Sood office, she explained everything, & introducing herself to us in the room. Every member of staff at Springfield hosptail couldn't do enough for us even the restaurant chef was delightful. My son has already said if he needs any future ops, his going back to Springfield, I hope Nicole nurses adults to because I also will be using Springfield in future. Thank you so much to everyone at The Springfield hospital."
